This snaffle is part of Herm Sprenger's Novocontact line. These bits are designed to create a unique oval shape which widens the contact surface on the tongue while the rider keeps a steady contact, but as the rider gives a rein aid the mouthpiece turns forward and the contact surface gets narrower. This ensures more precise and effective communication.
We recommend you use Rubber Bit Guards to prevent pinching on the corners of your horse's mouth with all loose rings.
