This bit is a traditional hunter D ring snaffle with a copper teardrop shape on the bars and a loose stainless steel link in the center. It is lightweight and ergonomically designed to fit the shape of the horse's mouth. The copper used is pale in color and looks very similar to stainless steel when fitted in the horse's mouth. This bit is commonly known as the Peter Pletcher Bit.
